A maintenance man found the body of the 52-year-old man in the 1700 block of North Cherokee Avenue about 5 p.m. Tuesday, the Los Angeles Police Department reported. Authorities withheld his name, pending notification of his relatives. An autopsy was pending to determine the cause of death.
