  • Judge John Aiso Street between Temple Street and 1st Street LAPD Cracks Down on Parking Next to New HQ

    To ensure the flow of traffic, maintain security and to obey the law, parking is strictly prohibited on all streets directly adjacent to the Police Headquarters Facility. Alternate parking is located at 260 South Main Street and in the parking structure east of the old Parker Center (Judge John Aiso Street between Temple Street and 1st Street).

  • Los Angeles and 2nd Little Tokyo wary of proposed light-rail connector line

    Two of the four alternatives involve building a connector through downtown. An above-ground route would weave from Union Station to 7th Street/Metro Center along Temple, Main, Los Angeles and 2nd streets. In a preliminary analysis, that route was estimated to cost $700 million in 2008 dollars.
