  • La Brea Avenue and Olympic Boulevard 18-year-old shot to death in Mid-Wilshire district

    The victim was in a white Toyota Corolla near the corner of La Brea Avenue and Olympic Boulevard about 2:35 p.m. when someone approached and shot him in the chest, said Officer Karen Rayner of the Los Angeles Police Department. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
